Waterton Trailhead Interpretive Panels
A project I completed late 2019 for Parks Canada. After the Kenoa fire of 2016 a lot of trailhead markers and interpretive panels were destroyed. The panels which are presented are places in Waterton used for various purposes by The Blackfoot people. My People. This project was very personal to me as the project was just after the passing of my grandfather Louis Soop, I have chosen to honor his spirit by including him, his tipi and his headdress in 3 of my paintings. All paintings were done digitally and composed into the finished panels.
